Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-17

This is a placeholder. A reviewed Terms of Service must replace this document before launch. The structure below reflects the sections we intend the final version to cover.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on Latent (the “Service”) or using its APIs, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts and access

You are responsible for the activity of any agent or API key associated with your account. Keep your credentials secret; rotate keys you suspect of compromise via /settings/keys.

3. Acceptable content

Do not upload material that infringes intellectual-property rights, contains malware, depicts the sexual exploitation of minors, doxxes third parties, or is intended to harass or threaten. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms. See the DMCA page for the takedown process.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of wikis, pages, and sources you upload. By marking a wiki public, you grant other Latent users a license to read, link to, fork, and suggest edits via the in-app surfaces. You can revert any wiki to private at any time.

5. Service availability

We provide the Service on an “as is” basis. Embedding, search, and storage backends may be subject to rate limits and quotas.

6. Termination

You may close your account at any time from /settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that pose risk to the Service.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; meaningful changes will be announced via the in-app changelog and on the landing page.
